I have an old Mobotix M12 mounted outside, it's probably 8 years old and I'd like to move up into something that would give me higher resolution as well as greater optical zoom. I'm not sure if I should go to the PTZ route or look at something similar to the Mobotix. I'd be looking at spending up to $1k and it's currently mounted on a tree with a wooden housing. I'm in a very cold climate as well where it can hit -20 if not colder on occasion
