New Dahua 180 Degree Camera Arrived

New fw is ready, At the new firmware we add the bit rate to 16384Kb, i also send @Alaska Country copy for this beta fw to do some testing.

Updated the new Dahua 180 camera (PFW-5849-A180-E2-ASTE or IPC-Color4K-B180) FW to Build 2022/10/31 and Version 3.120.0000000.2.R.

With limited testing it works well. With the same original camera settings, the image now looks more 3D. However, that could be the result of today's lighting conditions.

Installed using the Web 5 GUI and the FW BIN file. Did not, as suggested, do any factory or default camera resets. Seemed to work fine with no observable issues at this point.

The advantage of not doing a factory reset is that all your setting are retained making for a faster updating process. There could be a downside, but time will tell along with experiences by other FW update users.

Its not bad. But its hard to get the optics to get out the "fisheye" lens effect. Maybe they can unwarp the bent vertical objects with software?

Dewarp function only support 1 channel on most dahua nvr for fisheye, the 180 pic is not too bad, at least much better than you to watch on different channels.

@Alaska Country - Do you have any tripwire/intrusion zones set up with this camera? Just wondering how well this cam would work as a 'spotter' cam for a PTZ.

Presently using Smart Motion Detection on the 180 camera for humans (will also detect motor vehicles) which is turned off. This has removed the false triggers for cars passing by on the road, plus headlights triggers.

Have not setup IVS or tripwire rules for the 180 camera. This camera is part of a group of 4 cameras that all trigger when any of the three that are setup for intrusion/tripwire fire. One camera has no triggers and relies on the other cameras for activation as it does not have a human filter.
