Not sure what the difference is, but it's probably why a lot of people stick with an older version that simply works for them. FWIW, I've checked out newer versions but always go back to 5.9.2.4 ...

I had not upgraded for quite a while. Then I got that message once for a cam in my garage on 8/18. I then upgraded to 5.9.4.11, which was the latest stable version, on 8/19. Since then, I have not had that message at all.

Having the same issue here. It’s not a network related issue. Expanded to a second local mounted HDD for storage at 100 GB and then moving them to a NAS. File transfers are very fast manually. Using the same user account as the BI login to the NAS. I could get some hiccups here or there but it’s like it isn’t able to consistently move them. Only 6 cameras ranging from 8-16 megapixels or 35 MB/s. The speed test on BI shows something absurd for the test between it and the NAS.

hi there,
im struggeling with this error to.
My config:
Win2022 server on a proxmox VM with CPAI on the same VM. BI 5.9.5.4 CPAI 2.8.0 with Coral 2.4.0.
My recordings are on a HD, all in the "new" folder. Disk is fast enough.
I´ve tried to record to fast SSD and downgraded to older versions (5.8.1.4) but still the error happens once a day.
When it happens webui is unreachable and RAM rises up to 10gb, normaly BI needs 900mb.
Anybody a hint what i can do?

Move to Milestone Xprotect if less than 8 cameras. Works beautifully. It is free. Got tired of dealing with half baked software from BI.

And you thought your message would be helpful... how?
Oh wait, you just joined last month, you're a baby troll.
Probably, don't even have a tape measure yet.

it wasn't novice user friendly in the setup, was looking for lots of security passwords on diff levels and didn't find any hardware ina scan, So i fucked around for a few minutes and uninstalled it.

Now I’m running a Macrium reflect image restore for September 6 because whenever you install 3.8 gigs of bullshit you’re gonna have some registry bullshit and some other weird stuff making your computer slow and maybe spying on you

It sounds like the latest update might have introduced this issue. Try checking your disk's health and performance, ensuring there's enough free space. Handling multiple assignments can be stressful, but canadianwritings.com really eased that burden for me. They offer writing services for essays, research papers, and more, all plagiarism-free and with the option for revisions. What stood out was how easy it was to communicate with their team, ensuring I got exactly what I needed. For students dealing with tight deadlines, this is a resource worth checking out.
All good now?
