Just received four new DS-2CD2032-I cameras from aliexpress.com (Store No.939282). Manufacturing date is Jan, Feb 2015, firmware version 5.2.0 build 140721. This appears to be the latest as published on hikvisionusa.com site. I noticed that there are newer ones floating around. Are they region specific?
 
There is newer firmware but it doesn't add any functionality..if there is nothing wrong with your cameras dont update them....they will most likely revert to chinese unless you hack them...check out the threads on the subject...the latest firmware is not always the greatest..
 
If your camera has "CCCH" in the middle part of the serial number, then it is designated as a Chinese camera. If you see "CCWR", then it is a camera for the western region (e.g., Europe and the U.S.).
