New firmware 992108_DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.4.R.191129:

Compared to earlier versions
1. New menu
2. Preview and playback in all browsers without installing plugins

ONVIF cameras now show on the web view. I was running a previous 4.0 version and my Reolink did not show.

Also,works on a Amcrest NVR 4116.

Nice, upgrade to V4.0 11/29/19 went just fine on my 4XXX-8P-4KS2, everything appears to function "as it was"...

The "clientless" feature (HTML5?) in chrome is nice, although I can't seem to figure out how to display more than 4x cameras?

Also noted, I still only see the Start/End Talk and Local Play buttons in IE and you need the plugin installed.

I have the attached Speaker/Mic hanging off my NVR and chat with the kids in the morning before school. :)

there link for 1.5.R ?

I'm still rocking V3.216.0000002.0.R.190102 on my NVR4116HS-4KS2 (I think still original firmware when ordered from Andy).
But I'm looking to upgrade, mainly for easier use in different browsers so I don't have to rely on Pale Moon.

It appears this is the most recent firmware. Is it a stable firmware without any problems or drawbacks so I can safely update to it?
(in combination with 1 IPC-HDW5231R-ZE that I'm also planning to upgrade the firmware on for the same reasons)

FWIW, my ivs works fine as long as smart codec is disabled and I am able to export videos just fine..

Sometimes playback in the non-extension browser mode is flaky, so I find myself using the nvr for this...
