New G1 Platform cameras firmware 5.5.3 and 5.5.4

On the March 9th, 2018, at the European portal a new(er) version of the 5.5.3 firmware build 171025 has been issued.
Also a newer version 5.5.4 build 171206 (the same as the one published at the UK portal) has been posted.
There is another thread confirming live view problems from some users with the 5.5.4 firmware.

I wouldn't call it new. It may have a new date, but the firmware has been on the web site for quite a while. No idea why the date changed, but, I updated to that rev (5.4.4 171206) several months ago. The digicap.dav date in the zip file is 12-6-17

One has build date 171018 (18 October 2017) and the other one has build date 171025 (25 October 2017). The file contents are different. I do not know the differences.
@Tolting -----Colt Acres Did you have any problems with the live view with the firmware 5.5.4?? (I believe you have mistyped your firmware version).

mea culpa. 5.5.4. I upgraded a couple of months ago.

I do periodically have issues with live view. Seems more noticeable when I am off-lan (VPNd in)
