New GUI cams with working day/night switch

I'm considering replacing some of my older Dahua cams. When ordering, how can we tell which cams have the new GUI that have working day/night switching?

On the same note, do they also allow viewing of the cam without the plugin and IE?

If the Dahua cams have S2 or S3 at the end of the name, that is likely the new GUI.

It is supposed to work with other browsers.

I have the S3 models and they all work fine using Edge.
