New Hikvision user from Australia

Hello all,

I have just had installed a Hikvision NVR model DS7608NI-12/8P with four turret and four dome cameras. It is all working but I am struggling a bit with the settings and the User Manual is so technical, I don’t understand a lot of the jargon so I hope this group will be able to help.

I have quite a few questions but my one for today is how to make the event playback shorter. When I am notified of an event and play it back, it runs for almost a minute before the event happens. Is there a way to shorten this?

Go to the schedule and you will see the options for the Pre/Post record settings. There you will be able to set how many seconds of recording.
