hello I just set up my new ipct5442 I won from Andys lottery. I had no idea my old dahua 5231s were so outdated (Lower quality picture) . I am now forced to replace all my old 5231s with new t5442. I think Andy tricked me he gives you the first one free and gets you hooked. . thanks again Andy looking forward to updating my system

You are following in my footsteps. I've replaced 11 5231/4231 with 5442. Only 2 of the old generation are remaining, and since there are no more 5442s on the market that can detect animals with IVS, I'm at the end of the line for upgrades.

been thinking about this lately.

have had a 5231 for years, but pic quality just doesnt seem to be up to par anymore.. *daytime with light great, nightime IR just ok

I’ve also got 6 5231-zero cams on duty but although I had the itch and replaced the pair up front I’ve resisted and will replace them as they go to cctv cam heaven
