I’ve never seen this icon before. The IR light with the letter A. Is this new to BI5? What does it signify?

Auto-switched IR vs forced or scheduled on/off?
I think that's right. It was in BI 4 too. Appears for some of mine. Not sure why some and not others which also switch automatically. Just a difference in how BI sees the camera's IR setting I suppose.

I believe the A appears if you long-press on the button. So you probably did it accidentally. Myself, I don't use or trust that button because whenever I've tried it on my cameras it just screwed up the camera's configuration and made me get back into the web interface to set things straight.
