Be sure to read the material in the WiKi, in the blue bar at the top of the page, especially the Cliff Notes. The cameras listed may not be the latest and greatest but the principals it talks about apply no matter what. Plus there's a large amount of additional information in all the other topics as well. Read this stuff on a real computer, not a phone or tablet.
One more general camera comment. Don't believe the advertising photos posted by manufacturers, no matter who the manufacturer is. They are optimized still shots and even a piece of junk camera can be manipulated to look good in a still shot. The only thing that counts is motion, video with movement as in people walking or cars/trucks moving especially at night with little or no ambient light.
Three rules
Rule #1 - Cameras multiply like rabbits.
Rule #2 - Cameras are more addictive than drugs.
Rule #3 - You never have enough cameras.
