New Router on different subnet, Hikvision camera’s need special software to program?

Better security and built in VPN.

VLANs and VPN are the only things that I can see that are extras beyond a normal router.

I wonder what the actual throughput capabilities are of this box for VLANs and the VPN?

Yeah, not a lot of info except they tend to offer easy-to-use, plug 'n play type of items which further makes me think it's not a client-server VPN (like OpenVPN and WireGuard) but a typical subscription type that hides your identity, your IP address and your country of origin, etc.

It’s a WireGuard connection. You can download the install instructions. It’s working fine other than the camera’s which was my fault. Got most of them up and running.
