I appreciate the real-world experience/commentary @bigredfish and @CCTVCam.

Is there any way to adjust the focus on the 4KT's?
I recall in the mega-thread on them that someone said you could open them up, remove the glue, and then adjust ... or something like that(?)
And if you pixel peep, is it possible to "see" where the focal point is set?

Also, I would not be surprised that as you move away from the center of the image, the lens can not deliver as sharp of an image at high aperture.

You can but have never tried. Typically you would do this if focus were bad in a certain spot, ie lens sitting catywhompus (technical term) It won’t help the DOF issue though, you would just move it I think.

Get a sample last week, testing is good, will need some further testing, it's on the way to US.
My gerneral testing is if just use IR, the pic not as good as the IPC-T54IR-AS S3, But mixed the dual illumination, some guys will love it.
IR is a little weaker compare to the pure IPC-T54IR-AS S3.

Anybody bought and tested those new TIOC cams (Color4M-T / 3449H-AS-PV-PRO)?

Any comparison to 5442-S3 at night?

Sharpness / depth-of-field problems like Color4K?

4Mpx 1/1.8" sensor with F1.0 aperture should work better that 5442-S3 (F1.6/F1.8 aperture) at cost of shallow depth-of-field..

How dual light / switching from IR to white light works?

How fast camera switch / compensate changing light to white one?
