Hello everyone. I have set up BI and codeproject AI per some online videos but am having trouble getting any results from my set up. I am looking for a step wise approach for trouble shooting the system. Any pointers to docs specifically to this topic would be appreciated.

Thank you very much

Steve

Wellcome to the forum.

I haven't yet used Codeproject AI, so maybe I am missing the obvious, but what specific issues are you having?
I assume your issues are triggers/alerts, but can you confirm the BI portion is working in a basic sense?
From there, does it appear everything is "working" but you aren't getting results? Or are you issues system crashes or "sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't".

I think you might be able to get more/specific help by stating your current equipment (computer, cameras, bi version, codeproject ai version) and a definition of your problem.

Thanks! I will narrow it down so that I can get one thing confirmed then another. My set up
Dell optiplex7090
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900 CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB
Adapter Type NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, NVIDIA compatible
BI 5.7.5.6 X64
Reolink Cameras all IP POE.

I have 9 in total and have just turned off 8 from recording. I only have one FDOOR running now and have reset the stats for the cameras

I just walked out infront of the FDOOR camera it it looks like it triggered. It also looks like other cameras detect motion, but are not triggering because I am turned off recording video?

When I play back the video from the FDOOR and I go to when I walked out the door I get this

Here you can see the time line when the motion is happening and I thought there should be a little lighting bolt above the time line. Also here are my settings for motion detection

Here are my AI settings

Do I have the correct things installed here?

Again thanks for the help

The most important idea you need to keep in mind when setting up BI, is that there are many settings and therefore, never change anything unless you have read the help file and understand what they do. You had selected highlight motion and therefore are seeing your motion highlighted. (in the screenshot you changed it to show rectangles however you had not hit the ok button)

Do not use continuous + alerts. Use continuous + triggered. Read the help file and understand the difference. Change the algorithm to simple to avoid missed alerts.

Thanks again for the help. It seems like I have set up BI to show object rectangles when it detects motion but when I watch things move across the screen, no rectangles.

On another system that I have set up I get rectangles
