I have a DS-2CD3345-I that seems to do a bad job of adjusting it's IR over time. When I reset it to defaults, the night image is good. However, it seems that the IR output is reduced over time. I am not sure if it is the fault of the camera or the metal fence reflecting the IR back at the camera.
Last time I addressed this issue, I reset the camera to defaults. This disabled Smart IR and WDR. I have also tested with Smart IR on, it still has this issue.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?

edit to add pic from tonight after resetting to defaults. This time there is no black car with headlights in the shot... WDR and Smart IR are disabled by default.
