Night vision setup or cam problem?

Hello. Im experiencing some weird problem. I have hikvision v5.3.3 firmware 4MP camera DS-2CD2345-I.

On daytime light the quality is OUTSTANDING, but when it is night time its awlful.. See photos below.

Its like 640x480 Resolution..

What could be the problem? Thank you.
P.S. Night view has some ambient street light - which make it better. Its worse on 100% darkness.

looks like the sharpness setting is high. Post a picture of your settings. It'll be in the camera itself, not BI, under IMAGE.

Can i access the camera settings from iVMS-4200 or i have to connect it to a pc with PoE injector?

I don't use the iVMS app so I can't answer that. I'd assume tho that you'll need to log into the camera direct via the browser.

You need to set the day night to auto, so it switches to night mode and IR goes on...
