I have a Dahua DHI-NVR5216-16P-EI and a Dahua NKB1000 network keyboard.
I also have two older Dahua NVRs, and the same NKB1000 works perfectly with them.

I also have two older Dahua NVRs, and the same NKB1000 works perfectly with them.
Here is the problem:
- On the older NVRs, I can reorder the Live View camera tiles by drag & drop, and the NKB1000 still controls the correct PTZ camera using its channel number.
- On the new NVR5216-16P-EI, after reordering the camera tiles (or using Channel Sort), the PTZ works perfectly with the mouse, but the NKB1000 no longer controls the expected PTZ camera.
- It seems the keyboard still uses the original channel mapping while the Live View layout has changed.
I also tried:
- Latest SmartPSS V2.003
- USB and Network connection
- ConfigTool
- Different firmware versions
- PTZ works perfectly with the mouse in both the NVR and SmartPSS.
Questions:
- Is this a known limitation or bug of the NVR5216-16P-EI?
- Is there a way to synchronize the NKB1000 with the current Live View layout?
- Does the NKB1000 always use the original logical channel numbers regardless of the displayed camera order?
- Has anyone successfully used an NKB1000 with the NVR5216-16P-EI for PTZ control?
