No audio playback from clips

There is no audio when playing recorded clips in the internal player. If I play the clip in an external player, I hear the audio.

Any ideas?

what format are you recording to?
make sure the volume is not turned down in the BI player.

I tried both wmv (my default format) and avi. Yes, the BI volume slider is set to max.

try BVR which is ideal and most efficient.

Found the "problem". The playback speed was set to 2X. Any speed other than 1X results in no audio.
