No way to add push notification from camera to DMSS

Hi

I just got into dahua cams, i bought 2 (T54IR-S3 from andy and regular IPC-HDW5442TM-ASE). i installed latest dmss app on my phone. i am running just the cams for now, no nvr. When i go to the camera setting to add an IVS rule, there is no way to add "notification" or similar under event linkage.

Both cams are added with p2p to dmss.

I just have these entries.

Both cams (with different firmware) behave the same. In DMSS i enabled notifications for tripwire, intrusion and basically everything. How can i receive tripwire push from camera to DMSS?
 
You need to first login to the camera web interface and make your settings there. Don’t make any settings in the app, always on the camera.

Then you’ll need it to record to an sd card and be sure it’s recording.

Then you’ll need to learn the app because you aren’t in the right place.

Stop and watch some videos and learn the system on both camera and app

Are you refering to an NVR? because i dont have one. All tutorials said, i have to add the IVS rule on the camera and set "notification" under event linkage in ivs rule config. Then DMSS can receive them. In dmss i enabled tripwire and intrusion notification.
 
No the camera.
Each camera has its own web gui. This is where you should make all settings, IVS rules etc. everything. Making sure it’s recording and tripping.


Then you can go to the app and enable notifications.
 
ok, then simple yes/no question.

In my screenshot from first post, which shows the web gui of camera and IVS rule config: Should i see something else like "notification" under event linkage there? Or is it always just these entries?
 
notifications would not be in the camera menu no.
 
1- make sure camera IVS rules are working. Login to live view on camera, enable IVS to be visible , have someone walk through IVS lines and see that they flash red

2- make sure camera is recording IVS rules (sd card) by going to playback and seeing the events. (Record should be chosen in camera gui under Event Linkage

3- then go to app and enable notifications where I showed.
