To reset and initialize the camera-
Get a 12vDC adapter to camera (ethernet to laptop will not work, trust me)
Find your camera style and find the "reset button" (most likely have to open camera)
Plug 12vDC adapter into camera port but NOT the ethernet yet
Hold the reset button in and plug in 12vDC adapter to wall
Hold for 5-15 seconds (I did 10)
Go to laptop or desktop and download Dahua Tools from dahuawiki
Set up new account, must put in email and receive an email activation, activate
Connect ethernet cable to laptop, keep plugged in power also
sign in, set new password
Open Config and refresh if your camera doesn't show up
Click on camera
Choose initialize at bottom of window
Set new password (I used same password)
connect camera to nvr
search to find camera n click on modify
change password to new set password
