Noob lookin for help with no power poe

So, I took the hikvision route and had a power surge the other day with a nearby lightning strike. Lost picture on the cams but the nvr was still on. Did some troubleshooting and realized there is no poe. Took the cam down and gave it a 12v power source and connected the cat5 and the picture came back. So there is definitly no power coming from the switch. Can the switch be changed out? Does it have its own power supply? Any help to remedy this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The easiest thing to do is purchase a POE switch and connect it to the back of the NVR. There have been a number of post about NVR POE switches dying.

So is servicing the existing switch or replacing an option also?

I should be able to knock it out. Doesn't look that complicated. Just can't locate the part.
