Hello all,
Very new to the world of surveillance. Currently have 5 nest cams I ordered on boxing day, still sitting in boxes and ready for return.
I have 4 Dahua hdw5231r-z cameras on the way, along with an NVR4108-8p-4ks2.
Coming from the world of Arlo, my wife is used to the user-friendly layout of push notifications. So I am hoping to emulate that experience as much as possible.
If we are hoping to have push notifications (android) anytime motion is detected, is it better to roll with BI on a PC setup, or go forward with the NVR gdmss experience? We would prefer getting a notification with a screenshot of the motion being detected. Also, I understand TinyCam does not provide notifications.
Hoping the knowledgeable board can help me decide here.
Thanks in advance!
