I am having trouble with this. I put a dual NIC card in but am currently using a WIFI adaptor on the PC to connect to the internet.
Here are my settings:
Ethernet adapter Ethernet 2: (NIC connected directly to a POE switch to cameras.)
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.15.75.10
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.50
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.0
Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi:
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.228
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
I have tried putting the following addresses in to the Dahua web interface on the cameras with no success.
192.168.1.228, 10.15.75.10, 192.168.1.50
Where am I going wrong?
What type of router do you have? I use pfsense as my edge routers, and pfsense has an NTP server built in.
I have a Verizon Optimum Gateway 1100. I'm not running any of my cameras through my router. They are all connected to a POE switch on second NIC.
