I'm in the market for a 16 channel NVR. I don’t mind paying up for quality, but simplicity is also very important to me. Someone had recommended NUUO to me, but I don’t see much discussion of that brand on this site.
Regarding NUUO, this link concerned me a bit, but I don't know if the issue has been fixed:

Basically I’m looking for an NVR with a reputable manufacturer behind it, with good post-sale support and firmware updates and such. Also, it is important to me to have a reliable and capable Android app for monitoring.
