Hi, Does a new NVR come with a hard drive? Looking at a Loryta NVR4108-8P-4KS2 and the specs don't say anything about a hard drive or hard drive size.

I'm not familiar with this model specifically. It's a pretty good bet it does not include the drive. None of the models I know about include the drive. Andy's amazon page says this about it:
Internal HDD :1 SATA III Port, Up to 6 TB capacity for each HDD
HDD Mode :Single

Consider a surveillance-rated HDD such as a WD Purple or a Seagate SkyHawk; standard (non-surveillance rated) will work but their performance will be degraded and their lifetime possibly shortened. In a nutshell, surveillance- rated drives are designed for extreme "write" duty whereas standard drives perform mostly "read" duty.

P.S. - Welcome to IPCT!

thank you. How big of a hard drive should I get for 2 cameras? I'm thinking about a 4 or 6 TB, WD purple surveillance drive?
