NVR <=> Blue Iris <=> Software that supports ONVIF

Hello,

I have NVR that supports RSTP streams.

I want to input two streams (main and sub) for each camera to Blue Iris.

And connect software that supports ONVIF to Blue Iris, to watch (and optional manage) these cameras.

Such setup is possible with Blue Iris?

Blue Iris does not support retransmitting RTSP streams. It can do .ts (mpeg transport stream) and MJPEG and a few other lesser-supported formats but all of these methods involve re-encoding the video which is extremely CPU-intensive.

Your other ONVIF software would need direct access to the cameras anyway in order to "manage" them.
