Please help!
I have NVR DS-7104N-SN/p (v3.0.10 build 141201) and one old IP camera DS-2CD3132-I (v5.2.5 build 141201)
that the recorder normally recognizes. I bought a new camera PTZ DS-2DE2202-DE3/W (v5.3.0 build 150417)
that the NVR does not even recognize whether it is added manually or plug and play.
Which version of the firmware should install on the recorder to recognize the new camera or some other solution that will work?
Tnx.

Are you pre configuring the camera before connecting it to the NVR? I always pre configure the camera. At least assign it a proper IP address, then connect to the NVR and manually add it. Try that and report back

Yes, nvr is white square box. :(
Ok if you have the ip I am assuming it works through the web GUI
Do you use iVMS
You should be able to manually add this camera to a channel to record
But to move it around you would have to click on the camera in its group

The PTZ IP camera camera has finally worked!!! ;)
I made a mistake in some settings the first time.
Both camera work on chanell 1! I thought every camera must have its own channel, but I was wrong! ;)
