Done the above left for 30 minutes NVR didn’t find the cameras. Plugged it in local network and NVR finds them no problem!

I will get in contact with @EMPIRETECANDY and see if I can try different firmware

Thanks for the effort and the time people have put in to help me, much appreciated

Run the IP scanner again and post the result.

Try a different cable or port on the nvr.

1 cam
1pc

Scan Finds pc and NVR only
There is one more thing you can try, set your cams back to static, in the 10.1.1.x range like 10.1.1.5 and 10.1.1.6, plug the cams in(POE), plug your router back in log into your NVR and go to the setup page to scan for cameras in the web gui. I know it will show NO cams however their is a manual add section, click manual add and type the ip's of the cams in and see what happens. I have had to do this before as I remember.

ok did that and nothing, what's strange is I have 1 ip cam now in the NVR and the NVR finds it

I have my other cam in the local network, which it also finds. they both work

I unplug my local cam, put it in the NVR and it goes again, but the one remains that was in the NVR to start with

is port 3 common for that??

( I set the static of 10.1.1.4 )

You should put all your cam in static 10.1.1.XXX range.
Only use your network cable to power your cam, so you should see them (I hope)

ok back to basic here!

these cams that don't popup, i have just spent another few hours playing and its having none of it

i bring the camera in the house, plug it in the DVR and it pops up, i take it back outside and its gone!

i can see the cams on my local network, but NOT on the DVR so its like the DVR dont like my wire, but my local network does

i have done the wire as same colours both ends and am using CAT6

orange
orange stripe

blue
blue stripe

brown
brown stripe

green
green stripe

is this wrong for the NVR?

All this for bad wiring, yes you did it wrong and it definitely effect your cams. I should have asked about that..I bet you get them running after you do it correctly.
