We will be installing a PTZ camera (most likely a sd49225xa-hnr 2mp 25 x star light) in a secure ramp area. This camera is not being used for security, it is being used to be able to zoom in on people and moving vehicles for safety issues. We want to be able to take clear pictures of faces and issues. Will using an NVR suffice or do I need to purchase a new computer and add Blue Iris to it? What are the benefits of spending the extra money on the PC and Blue Iris?
