Getting comfortable
For me I have 16 cameras. Too much effort logging into each camera to setup AI alerts.
Nevermind that I would have to replace all my cameras with a brand with decent AI.
And what happens when a different camera manufacturer comes out with better AI?
Too much tail chasing for me to consider an NVR, but everyone has different requirements for sure

That’s awesome, I wasn’t sure what P2P meant. I will definitely test it out. This is what I was looking forthanks @bigredfish!
Keep in mind P2P is better than port forwarding, but you are still accepting risk and trusting a 3rd party...
Do any of you actually use Dahua P2P for external access to your cams?
It frightens me to think about using Dahua P2P. I turn p2p off and access the cams remotely with my WireGuard VPN. But I saw another thread mentioning using P2P which made me wonder, do any of you use it? Do you have any insight into how secure it might be?
