NVR suggestions

I have a bit of a unique situation...finally getting around to adding cameras to my house and wanting an NVR. The issue I have is that I would love to be able to put the NVR in my media closet where its easy to run cables to and view the multi-view in my bedroom or in my living room or possibly both. I know I could just run a hdmi to the tv, but is there an option to be able to control the camera selection, ect from another room easily? I'm open to any suggestions.

I think, ( but can't confirm) that a wireless mouse may do the trick.

I think the easiest way would be to use a laptop with the software that allows you to watch your cameras and control it that way. You could use a HDMI cable from your laptop to your TV if you wanted a larger screen. If using a Dahua NVR, Smart PSS would be the software you download to view cameras.

If it’s a relatively new NVR s wireless mouse should work
