I would suggest letting her see your Blue Iris setup and maybe if you have Dahua cams, load up SmartPSS as that is what many use to view their NVR and have her play with them both and see which she feels most comfortable with!
Some of the better Dahua analog cameras (CVI) are great and rival their IP models for image quality, at less than 1/2 the cost. But you would need a Dahua NVR. The only real downside to the analog is the lack of ability to set separate day/night exposure settings. Though in many places, its not necessary.
Analog cams and NVR are about as simple to manage as one can get and they're quite reliable. By and large the one thing they do better than IP cameras is night SmartIR, the dimming of IR so as to not wash out the subject.
I still have a mix of IP and CVI cameras. For some, the simplicity and reliability are most important.
