NVR to router without a cable?

On the other hand I did this same thing and what I did was punch a small hole on each side and install RJ45 wall plates on each side of the wall.
I would do that, but it seems I wasn't clear as several people misunderstood. I had said:

the NVR will go in the closet of the bedroom adjacent to the router
This led some folks to think it's back-to-back. Nope -- the two locations are at far walls of adjacent rooms.

And after AAAALLL of that, I just changed my plan.

Same closet will contain everything: Cablemodem, Router, NVR all hardwired together. I'll just run ISP's coax cable to the closet through the attic. The computer can stay where it is, using WiFi instead of a hard connection.

I mean... Duh.

Somehow I was thinking the cablemodem and router has to stay where I asked the ISP to put it -- Just because I wanted my computer there.

Sorry, I've been deliberately wasting your time. Joke's on everyone. Including me. Ha ha. :winktongue:
