Pulling my weight
I want to update from PC to an NVR and feel pretty naive about what would serve me best. I want to be able to watch the cameras continuously and have hi FPS and resolution, with a system that can except 3rd party poe cameras. I run BI on a PC with 7 cameras and the performance of the PC is stretched to its limit. IPcamtalk site sells these that I posted here and I like that it excepts 16 cameras in case I increase my count. Is this what everyone is using now or is there something better. Again, I want to fix the bottleneck of the PC I am using now and like to put things at max for once without the video dropping FPS when 3-4 cameras are triggered at one time. I am open ears about which NVR would last me into the future and sure like to know what to expect moving to NVR from and older PC. Thanks
