Can anyone with this NVR model check to see if the status light is on? Mine is on and the manual say device malfunction if in that case.

Don't think it means anything. Mines(dif. model) been on for a year and it's worked fine. If I recall it went off when I formatted the drives and came back on when the drives filled up.

The manuals often have incorrect info in them.
The blue light on is normal on the two Dahua NVR's I have here.
