Official FULL SmartPSS Windows & Mac versions from Dahua with working P2P connections and without 64 camera limit...

Hi,
There is more and more threads here on this forum and on reddit, confirming that Dahua started to block old versions of P2P on cloud servers in USA..
Two months ago the same situation I had in Poland - but before that we received notification from Dahua Poland on Polish Dahua groups on Facebook and from Polish Dahua resellers.

Official information was that Dahua is blocking (due security reasons) old version of P2P protocol used by old (and not updated) apps like old pre 2022 versions of SmartPSS / gDMSS / iDMSS...

Official solution given in Poland by Dahua was migration to latest versions of DMSS and SmartPSS Lite..

DMSS is not a problem, but SmartPSS Lite is very crippled version of SmartPSS - very low 64 camera limit, missing/deleted many features.

I found that LATEST version of FULL SmartPSS released in 2023 is working with a new P2P.
It's working for me, please other people who lost P2P connection in own old SmartPSS versions confirm is this version resolved problem?

I can confirm that Mac version of FULL SmartPSS which Dahua released on Website is also working...

Before that we had only SmartPSS Lite versions for Apple M1 (ARM) processors...

Dahua Support got a real kick in the ass because of the recent blocking of old apps..

They finally got up and did something!!!

Interesting is that I added 8 different NVRs over P2P to this SmartPSS (MAC version) with over 80 video channels..

And NVR auto login to every one.. No messages about camera limit.. Looks like this is real FULL version...

Can Windows users confirm that 64 camera limit is NO MORE on this official new version?

Thanks for the time posting a solution and link. For Android/apps, are you aware of any working app like gDMSS, other than DMSS?

• DMSS is different and annoying, doesnt let me make a list of my favorite cameras in my own order.
• It always puts higher numbers last. While gDMSS let me make lists in any order.
• DMSS doesnt let me repeat cams in a list. If I show 4 at a time, and one is in the wrong order, then I have to delete that one, merely to show it somewhere else.

I use BCS Line - it has much faster P2P implementation..

But it don't solve Your favorite problems..

DMSS is different and annoying, doesnt let me make a list of my favorite cameras in my own order.

I just tried to make a favourites list and you're right it just puts them in order or channel number.
It has a sort option there but it doesn't actually allow you to move any of them.

I didn't saw any modern DMSS clone with normal full support for favorites (and starting app from favorites view).
Like it was in iDMSS..
