I've just purchased & downloaded BI from IPCT, but the file in 'my downloads' folder doesn't do anything

All I get is a screen asking me how I'd like to open it, but non of the options work

Next step I suppose is to go to the BI website, download it from there and hope my activation key works
 
Just downloaded it again from the BI website

Looking in my downloaded folder, I now have 2 files for Blue Iris

The IPCT one is called bidl (presumably Blue Iris Down Load) but has no icon, almost as if it is an unrecognised file type

Meanwhile the BI website download has an icon beside the file name 'blueiris'

Both files are exactly the same size at 73,991 kb

Am I ok to use the one with the BI icon to install & will my IPCT-purchased serial number work ??
 
@BigFoot it's the exact same file, just less expensive to purchase here. This also sounds like a browser issue or something you may be doing wrong, especially since you downloaded 2 files. Can you please private message me a screenshot of the message you are referring to?
