I see these old pictures from way back from time to time and always enjoy looking at them.

Wow...makes some of those photos of wiring we see from the middle east and Africa not look so bad! But at least most of these in Kansas started out with some planning and neatness.

I also like looking at some of these old photos, especially late 30's and through the 40's that show city scenes, cars, trucks, storefronts, etc.

I have a buddy that I used to work with that is now a lineman. This is what they have to deal with now!

The track behind me is in Garden Grove. This is what their power lines look like. All of ours are underground.

There weren't any there back then. That was a homeless encampment...

I don't know if that area gets many or long-lasting tremors and/or earthquakes but if that's landfill I can forsee MUCH liquefaction and toppled structures...let's hope not.
