On camera motion alert is delayed?

I didn't realized this until I tried to set both alerts to see which would come first, it seems BI is almost instant and the on camera has at least a 10-15 second delay. Both identical server/client settings

How are you receiving the hikvision alert?

Are you getting the blue iris alert via the blue iris mobile app? if so that explains it..the push notification is much quicker than sms.

nope, both goes to my phone as a regular SMS,

BI and HIKvision are both configured to send an email to my phone as SMS no BI app alert involved
