Does anyone know if Blue Iris has an Optical Zoom feature that can be integrated with the auto pan preset function.
It would be great to pan and then zoom in or out.

Any ideas are appreciated.

if your camera has optical zoom and it can be saved in the cameras preset then blue iris can trigger it.

An example is the Sunba 20x cam. Presets include position and zoom level.

The problem I experience with using the zoom in a preset is that it will trigger the motion sensor when you are using the preset manually. Does anyone know how to stop this? (I have a Sunba)

Hi Rick Rick....

I could be wrong, but it seems like that is the what the motion triggers are for, creating an event for Blue Iris to start recording movement. If you are panning/zooming.....by definition, you are creating movement which BI see's as a "triggerable" event. I assume that you are the one moving the camera around yes? If so, then what's the issue with BI recording that? Just curious to understand the situation here.

see ptz settings
The Suspend motion detection option is enabled by default. This prevents the motion detector from triggering the camera as you use the PTZ controls. In certain cases you may wish to override this and allow the motion detector to potentially trigger the camera if PTZ movements are interpreted as actual object movement.

Yes I did that after I posted. BUt it is interesting that movement does not trigger it but zoom does. Hmmm
