Getting comfortable
Captured on an EmpireTech PTZ5A4M-25X last night. Orion had dropped low enough for the PTZ to aim at sword.
Had to run with shutter speed 750 msec, but got some interesting footage.
Might have to modify this PTZ to give it some more upward tilt range. The stock position sensor configuration greatly limits up angle.
This model has a fairly broad upper housing that might obstruct the upward view more than other PTZ's I've modified. Still a couple degrees would be helpful for stuff like this.
For perspective, the small rectangle in this Color-4KT 2.8 mm shot is the area imaged by the PTZ5A4M-25X. Notably, it is too high for the PTZ to aim at. The PTZ shot wasn't actually possible until the sword was MUCH lower to horizon.
