maybe ive got away with it cos got ultra bright light on movement sensor so avoided the need for gain.
thought sutter priority forced a min shutter speed but allowed cam to amend to higher speeds if ambient light improves ?
Shutter priority set to a range and manual shutter set to a range will both allow shutter speed to go faster if ambient light improves.
But the firmware is designed to favor a brighter static image, so a shutter priority with 0-8ms shutter may go to 100 gain because of low light and will result in just as poor as a 1/15 shutter if there isn't enough light.
You need to be able to control gain as well as shutter if you expect decent quality.
Having NR at 50 rarely results in stunning night images with motion - please provide a video example with motion. We don't care about static images as we aren't submitting photos to the County Fair LOL.
still getting used to this system , direct from nvr or via ip in pc. i suppose to send recording to you its easier to get it sent to pc so i can then bounce to you
is there a dummies guide to how this is done
so ive been past that but search didnt seem to find anything , got it so a days human events show but cannot get it to go to say 10pm on the bottom scale like normally does
i have it set so it just records everything full time , i can in nvr/screen just search for human & it goes green to blue vert lines where humans found. storage main stream set to auto
