Outdoor cable life expectancy and impact on IR illumination

The only cams I run IR on are the LPR cams and they point in different directions.

Has anyone tried the Axton Nano PoE IR illuminators? I am thinking that I may need more IR for one of my LPR cams. You can get these with different patterns.

Not the Nano but I just purchased the AT-11E-S PoE version today. I'm shooting about 110' and hoping this will illuminate those plates that the camera emitters aren't powerful enough to get.

Yup I'll do a small write with some plates taken at night with the camera built-in IR and then with the Axton IR. For my wallet's sake, I hope there is a difference!
