Yeah, one of those was posted here late last year, pretty impressive but he lost some credibility with me when it was later discovered many of his "surprises' were staged:

You can buy these for your yard, they're called alarm mines and they've been around for decades.

This is the best quality one I've seen, but it's expensive here (I forget who makes this one):
