Painted front door cam and New server build (WIP)

Painted a Dahua 5231 for our front door. I was a little weary of just taping off the glass for the camera and IR so I left the front white. Installed an outlet in the office closet and built a small rack for the ERL, switch, CPU and cable modem.

Now i just need to add a UPS and the other cams and then make all the cables look purty in the closet... Oh and really learn how to use Blue Iris... setting it up was the easy part...

BI is a breeze... just need time to tinker with it... The contrast of the white face looks good IMO.

rotate it 90 degrees then fix it in settings, these recessed doorways pretty much always better in corridor mode.

Looks great, need to do some like this with new house. Two doors to monitor. Nicely done.
