Pass a Username on a Direct Streaming URL?

Hello,
I have a Vera home automation controller hub that I would like to pass a live stream from my Blue Iris cameras. If I use

http://192.168.0.5:8080/mjpg/porch/video.mjpg?user=Vera

I thought it might login to my web portal? From my PC on my local network If I just use

http://192.168.0.5:8080/mjpg/porch?

I get the web portal prompt for a user & password. If I login, I get a live stream. Any thoughts on auto login from a URL?
