Password back? Hikvision doorbell

Hello,

ist it possible to set the password to default for Hikvision doorbell?

DS-KH8520-WTE1 Door Station FW V2.1.10build 200713

and

DS-KD8003-IME1/EU Camera FW V2.0.8build 191120

Afaik NO. You have to get through Hikvisions pw reset procedure. Took me weeks to succeed, but got it finally.

Thanks for answer! Weeks? For an normal Email as an answer? Oh no. Is that service? Than i will try the 7 passwords an hour.... Maybe i will have luck.... And I will wait for the mail.....

The reset-mail(s) from Hik took days to arrive - the certs were expired in the meantime.

I got an answer today, but they asked for more information. I hope i will get the file today. I will keep you informed. But mails need seconds, i wonder while it took days. I am excitet waht will happen today....

It was back in jan/feb.'20 - I thought chineese new year was causing this delays so I contacted Hik NED. There I got a reply within 2-3 days which helped as far as i remember.
Anyhow - I hate relying on someone when it's about resetting devices. Would buy Hik again if they get rid of this sh**. Can't afford hanging at customers for hours just to get access to their devices.
