After upgrading to windows pro, and debloating and reinstalling BI, the fist thing I noticed was on the camera configuration page the ONVIF source says "videosource_1". Hopefully that change makes a difference...
I did that now. I may have misinterpreted that as turning off the BI motion. I've probably been at this for 8 hours now, and I am at the point where I just can't even come up with a different combination of settings. This isn't the core problem, but as I mentioned previously, when using Smartplan IVS, turn off both motion and smart motion.
This is done. After inspect, I just added the substream before saving. After turning SMD and MD off, redo the find/inspect.
Add the appears box to the IVS rule.
I would also switch to H264 and up the bitrate to at least 8192.
And use the substreams!!!
I can try that this evening if I can figure out how to copy a cam, but I am curious as to what difference it would make?Try copying the same model camera that you set up in BI thats working. Then go into the BI setup for that new cam copy and change the IP to that of the one that you can't seem to get to work. See if that does it.
