Don't like Raccoons, but don't harm them either. Thy can be very destructive and are like a land octopus when it comes to figuring shit out. As long as they leave my stuff alone, I don't care. If they do bother me, the I will catch them and relocate them a long ways from my home.

My only gripe with people that relocate them a long ways from their house is that the area of relocation always seems to be close to my house so that I get to do the dirty work. My neighbors concur...

They will also rip apart the insides of a barn and able to tear up a dog. I'm pretty sure I heard one killing a dog across the back fields a few years ago. Granted they don't go hunting for dogs, if the dog picks the fight, it can be pretty bad. Coons have thick hide, sharp claws, and super sharp teeth.

And full grown ones are a hell of a lot bigger than most people realize.
