Good day everyone!

I’m helping a business with cameras that are controlled by BI 5. They have the newest Hikvision cams. For some reason the footage is pixilated.
Do I play with cams themselves image settings if we want picture to be as clear as possible?

Please advise.

Here is how it currently looks.

TIA.

If you can view the streams fine from the cameras directly (browser or hikvision app to bypass BI) then review the BI settings for bitrate being too low.
If its still bad for while viewed bypassing BI then check the camera stream bitrate. Blocky, pixelated can be low bitrate. It can also be the encoding method. Chevk both camera and BI are set to h.264.

And try on another client device (phone, tablet, computer etc.) Could be the client havind decode issues.

If wireless, try wired. Bad wireless performance will cause that.
Lots of potential causes. Going to be trial and errior, process of elimination.

Ok, good advises! Will try those.
It's all wired, the only bottleneck here is a WAN speed: ATT ADSL.
